How It Started

In 2022, God gave Tallie Carter a vision: a movement that would call believers back to covenant faithfulness—not just in word, but in action. From that vision came The Earth Is the Lord's (TEITL), founded on the unchanging truth of Psalm 24:1: "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it."
What began as a single prayer vigil has grown into a global initiative spanning 10+ countries, with Covenant Partnerships uniting churches and organizations across continents. TEITL is no longer confined to one day of the year—it has become a year-round call to creation stewardship, with Regional Leaders mobilizing local communities in prayer, education, and action.
As we enter Year 5, we look ahead with hope. The 2027 Earth Day Prayer Vigil will mark a milestone moment—not just a gathering, but a commissioning. A generation of covenant leaders is rising. And this is only the beginning.

Founder & Host
Tallie Carter is the visionary founder of The Earth Is the Lord's (TEITL) and Covenant180 Global Impacts. A woman of deep faith and action, she received the divine calling in 2022 to mobilize the global Church toward creation stewardship.
Beyond TEITL, Tallie serves as the principal of Tallie Carter Law, P.C., where she practices at the intersection of law, faith, and enterprise development. Her unique perspective—blending legal acumen, theological grounding, and entrepreneurial vision—shapes TEITL as both a spiritual movement and a practical force for change.
Her vision for TEITL is clear: to build a covenant-based community of creation stewards who pray, learn, and act together—transforming the way the Church engages with God's creation, one region at a time.

While our annual event unites the global community each year, our work continues year-round through Bible study programs, local prayer networks, and educational resources that equip believers to care for creation as an expression of their faith.
